Questions to Consider

How many of your sins did Jesus die for? So how forgiven are you? To what degree have you agreed with God about the sacrifice of his Son?

First John 2:2 (NASB) says that Jesus Christ is the “propitiation [satisfying sacrifice] for our sins.” What does this mean to you personally?

We are now holy and blameless before God. What might you still be blaming yourself for? What choice do you need to make that will enable you to stop playing the blame and shame game?

Reflect on this statement: Confession of sins is healthy and honest, but it does not make you any more forgiven by God. Only blood sacrifice accomplishes forgiveness.
